The second day of the 11th Global Film Festival was amazing as many famous and celebrated personalities of film industry participated in the event. The Film Festival was started with a prayer of Lord Ganesha.
The second day of the event was centred on women empowerment in which the role of women in Indian cinema was highlighted.
ICMEI President Sandeep Marwah welcomed all the guests and said that it was a moment of happiness for him that International Film and Television is celebrating its 11th Global Film Festival.
Mr. Marwah shared his thoughts on women empowerment and said that whatever he had achieved in his life is because of his mother, wife and sister. He also said, ” If women are empowered, you are definitely living a successful life.” He told the audience that in today’s world women are doing excel in every field which is a good sign for the growth of any country. The perception about women is changing and women are becoming more and more independent.
All the guests present in the Film Festival shared their thoughts with the audience, specially Arpana Joy Aggarwal who while explaining today’s condition of women said ” women are the most important part of building a nation, a society. Women play their role in the society being a mother, sister, wife and daughter. Today women are progressing in every field and becoming more awared about their identity as an individual.
The High Commissioner of Lesotho, Budhata Sukhvane, Ashok Dubey, Gyaneshwar Srivastava, Arpana Agarwal, Film Producer Sridhar Chari, Ambassador of Romania Radu Octavian Dorbe, Film Director Rajendra Prashekhar, B.N.Tiwari, Ambassador of Slovania Jojef were among the many who made their presence in the event
