Today, Indian sports stars are scripting new success stories in the world of sports at international level. Our government is also making concerted efforts to promote sporting genius through initiatives like `Khelo India’. DAV National Sports is an initiative of the DAV College Managing Committee to give impetus to the sporting talent in the students of all DAV schools across the nation. The two-fold aim of identifying and nurturing the budding sports stars has inspired many to achieve exceptional feats in the field of sports. The journey of DAV national sports began in 2013 and every year large number of students participate from all across the country zestfully. It is a matter of pride that DAV National Sports is affiliated with SGFI and stars of DAV National sports have been winning accolades at National and International level.
The Best teams from 15 zones will be participating in 25 different games at National level. Event for girls will be held at Delhi NCR from Dec 4 to 6, 2018 and event for boys will be held at Ranchi from Dec 12 to 14, 2018.

This year the mega event at Delhi NCR will be attended by a huge gathering of students, teachers, parents, distinguished guests and eminent personalities where more than 3000 girls will be showcasing their sporty streaks. This phenomenal number of girls participating in the event is a clear indication that sports and games are foundation of a society that is egalitarian in the true sense of the world.
