NSUI Will Launch 4-week Public Policy Course for “Future of India” Fellows in June 2018
The summer boot camp will provide India’s brightest young minds not just an overview of the key policy challenges facing ourcountry but the tools to deconstruct, analyze and understand the politics behind the policies. The Fellowship will focus ondeveloping an understanding of the political considerations and implications of different policy choices to build a new generationof liberal, democratic and compassionate young leaders across India.
Fellows will get an opportunity to interact with the country’s leading thinkers and practitioners such as P Chidambaram, SalmanKhurshid, Sam Pitroda, Jairam Ramesh, Ajay Maken, K Raju, Shashi Tharoor, Sachin Pilot, Rajeev Gowda, Meenakshi Natarajan,PL Punia, Sushmita Dev among others. The course will combine theory with field visits and practical assignments.
The Fellowship is open to all students and young professionals under 30 years. Interested candidates can apply at www.nsui.in.
Applications for the course are open from 1st May 2018, and shortlisted candidates will be informed before 31st May 2018. Thecourse is scheduled to be held from 11th June to 6th July 2018, in Delhi. A nominal fee will be charged to cover the administrativecosts; there are some partial need-based fee waivers for exceptional young people. The NSUI urges the brightest young minds toapply for the course and build the “Future of India” with Indian National Congress (INC).
